Libur telah tiba, saatnya jalan-jalan bersama buah hati. Kebetulan RT diwilayah kami mengadakan family gathering. Lokasi yang dituju adalah kawasan Anyer, yang terletak sekitar 120 km barat Jakarta.

Pertama, kita tuju area yang jarang dituju dikawasan anyer, yaitu kawasan hutan/kebun diarea perbukitan. Disini biasa dipakai untuk permainan outbond.

Nah setelah lelah melihat hijaunya kebun, saatnya melihat pantai. Di daerah anyer banyak sekali pantai yang bagus. Kita menuju salah satunya. Wah bagus sekali nih pemandangannya.

Capek seharian jalan-jalan, saatnya pulang.

Tari Piring - Opening ceremony of my brother wedding reception

Another wedding ceremony of my brother in Jakarta. Name of my brother is Dedi from Pekanbaru. He got married with Anggie from Makassar.
During opening ceremony, there was dance performance which is Tari piring (Plate dance).

According to some reference, Piring dance come from Minangkabau, west Sumatra, Sumatra island, Indonesia. This dance have movement as farmers movement when farm, harvest rice, etc. This dance is also symbol of cheerfulness and thanks for harvest. This dance is quick movement dance, where dancers hold plate on their palm with song instrumental that is played by Talempong and Saluang.
Sometimes that plates is throw up/ flinged to ground and stirruped by dancers. For increasing aesthetics, magical elements and surprise this dance, male and female dancers will stirrup of broken plates without fear and also not pained. Spectator certain will feel horrfied, if that broken glasses and sharp is stirruped while dancing.

So congrats for my brother.

On 11 October 2008, I went to Sukabumi to attend my sister wedding ceremony. Sukabumi is a beatiful place and small city, situated about 150 km south of Jakarta. It takes about 2-3 hrs from Jakarta by car and it depend on traffic condition. My sister name is Rini. She got married with Danang. Tana Toraja has cliff graves and two villages, named Lemo and Londa. Londa is considered as one among the oldest sites of hanging graves of local nobility. Krakatau volcano is another major tourist spot in Indonesia. The volcano erupted in the year 1883 and is one of the most catastrophic natural events, which is etched in history. The entire region surrounding the volcano was engulfed in darkness. The volcano disappeared, soon after eruption and resulted in the formation of small islands in the area. One of the volcanoes in the area is called Anal Krakatau or the child of Krakatau, which is a young and active volcano. Boat trips to the volcano, allows tourists to get a closer look at the young volcano.

Mt. Tangkuban Perahu is a must see sight in Indonesia. The volcano is filled with many places for sight seeing and exploring. It is an interesting spot and the mount is famous for its distinct upturned boat shape. The panoramic view of the mount and the forests is a delightful experience. After some busy day, all we need is just get some relax for a little bit. There are many way to get some relax, instead of common vacation place or common vacation destination, there is one place for you who love all about car. The place is Toyota museum located in Japan, Nagoya city. In this place, you can see history of car ever made and produced. The first car made in japan is kept here, the named is Toyoda. They kept various old car made from japan, America, Germany and many more.

Almost all people already know where or what Paris is. But not everyone know where or what is Paris van java. For who already know might be ever visit there, but for the others, let we see a brief.
Paris van java is a called for Bandung city since it has many textile industry, fashion centre and many others related with fashion industry until now. Bandung is located in west java, Indonesia.
Now there is a new cool place in Bandung for you and your family to take for shopping, take some food or just for window shopping while visit Bandung, its called Paris van java.
It's located in Jl. Sukajadi, Bandung. It has many fashion store and boutique with international brand and also local brand. After take some sightseeing around store, you can go to restaurant in this area. Many kind of food offered by restaurant. You can choose your favorit food, from western style, Chinese food, or local food. One of the my favourite restaurant is BMC restaurant, it offered delicious food and also drink or juice. One of my favourit menu is nasi tutug oncom and strawberry juice. When you have chance, you can go to this restaurant.

Yogyakarta known as student city since it have many university and also know as 2nd Indonesia tourism city after Bali. Average temperature is tropical temperature, so it will be good if we visit to Yogyakarta at dry season from February until September.

It hase about one thousand of temple located in one place. Vacation packing can be a bit daunting. Packing for your vacation is such a drag :you just want to be whisked away direct to your destination: no packing involved! Unfortunately this happy state of affairs hasn't happened to me yet so here are my top 5 vacation packing tips.

Vacation Packing Tip#1; If you "might" need it don't take it. If you are taking something "just in case" or because you "might need it" - leave the item at home. I have traveled for years and I have never, every used anything that a carried "just in case".

Vacation Packing Tip#2 Put all your Must Have Items on the Bed Have a good long look at them. Then select the half that is most important to pack :put the rest back in the cupboard: you may have the right amount of stuff. If you have problems with this approach put all your "essentials" in a bag and go for a 30 minute walk: see the point now?

Vacation Packing Tip#3 Don't take specialist clothing Don't take any item of clothing that won't do duel use. If you need a sleep shirt take something that you can sleep in and either use as a beach cover up or as a silky evening top. I have had tankini's with tops that doubled as a an evening top (bra included too nice!).

Vacation Packing Tip#4 Don't take Denim Denim is never the answer. Its bulky, its hard to clean, it takes forever to dry and it has a certain reputation which will still get you turned away from clubs if you are wearing denim. Leave it at home

Vacation Packing Tip#5 Don't take the Medicine Cabinet Take a bare minimum of drugs with you. You can buy almost anything you need at almost any location: there is no point being kitted out with 6 months supply of cold remedies if you are off for 10 days at the beach: and don't have a cold Take any prescribed medicines you need but also take their name and their generic equivalent; you may well find what requires a prescription at home you can get over the counter for a fraction of the cost in many countries.
